NLC India gets chief vigilance officer

T. Venkatasubramanian, belonging to the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) assumed office as the Chief Vigilance Officer of NLC India Ltd at Neyveli.

A Mechanical Engineer with Diploma in Business Management, he has worked in various capacities in Mysuru, Thiruvananthapuram, Erode and Tiruchi, including as General Manager in Centre for Railway Information System and Additional Divisional Railway Manager/Madurai, before working as Chief Rolling Stock Engineer looking after operational and maintenance of coaches belonging to Southern Railway for more than five years. He has been bestowed with the Prime Minister Award for Excellence in Public Administration (Year 2006-07).
