S. Suresh Kumar took charge as the Collector of Cuddalore district on Saturday. He had, earlier, occupied the post of the Executive Director of the Tamil Nadu Watershed Development Agency.
R. Kirlosh Kumar, who has since been posted as Registrar of Cooperative Societies, handed over the charge to Mr Suresh Kumar. Later, the new Collector told reporters that he would take all-out measures to reach the benefits of the welfare schemes of the government to the people. He would be easily accessible to the people who could contact him directly for redressing their grievances.
