Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy on Tuesday convened a meeting of top officials to review the progress on the master plan for Puducherry.
Ministers MOHF Shahjahan, A. Namassivayam, Chief Secretary Ashwani Kumar, Government Secretaries and officials of the Puducherry Planning Authority were among those who participated in the review meeting held at the Chief Minister’s chamber.
The Comprehensive Development Plan, which aims at a long-term planning strategy of over a decade, covers social and physical infrastructure like education, health, transport, water supply and sewerage and seeks to achieve a balanced growth of the urban and rural areas.
