Kalarigram has lined up two workshops in December that will offer participants an opportunity to rejuvenate themselves through kalaripayattu, yoga, spirituality and panchakarma healing sessions.

The Yoga Sadhana Shibir is scheduled from December 3 to 10 and will be centred on karma yoga, an essential part of Kalarigram’s community lifestyle. Swami Taponidhi will lead the sessions.

According to organisers, the shibir (camp), in celebration of Tantra, has been designed to provide the participants an opportunity to learn the art of awakening the pranas (life-forces) and develop the ability to direct them so as to attain a spontaneous meditative state.

The camp seeks to achieve this through a judicious combination of Integral Yoga (Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga) and Kalarippayattu, along with an experience in ashram life.

The participants will be guided through alertness of one’s own responses, relaxation of mind, awareness of one’s attitudes, concentration and eventually to evolution, or a stage of being able to transform one’s attitudes and thus one’s responses.

Meditation, satsang and bhajan are a part of everyday evening activity.

The Panchakaram workshop from December 13 to 22 will also mark the launch of ‘Arogyam’, a new wing at Kalarigram dedicated to the art of healing and wellness.

The 10-day workshop will feature Kalarippayattu, basic principles of Panchakarma and more.

More details are available with Kalarigram on 0413-2622091 or 8531914100.
