Foreign delegation calls on Chief Minister

A foreign delegation of the Colombo Plan comprising 27 members from seven countries on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister N.Rangasamy at his office.

Under the Technical Co-operation Scheme of Colombo plan sponsored by Union government, the delegates from Fiji, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Afghanistan and Nepal was undergoing a training programme on precision farming at Kothari Agricultural Management Centre, Coonoor, The Nilgris. As part of the training programme, they also visited Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Krishi Vigyan Kendra at Puducherry.
