Welfare Minister M. Kandasamy on Tuesday handed over education loans to 66 students from the Adidravidar community to continue their higher education.
A press release said Mr. Kandasamy handed over loans to the tune of ₹40.29 lakh to 66 students belonging to the Adidravidar community studying in professional colleges in the Union Territory under the Puducherry Adidravidar Development Corporation (PADCO).
Deputy Speaker V.P. Sivakolunthu and MLAs were among those present, added the release.
