Catherine Suard, Consul General of France in Puducherry, called on Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi on Wednesday at the Raj Nivas.

A press release from from Raj Nivas said that the Consul General and Ms. Bedi discussed the on-going partnership between France and India in areas such as urban planning, conservation and protection of heritage buildings and tourism.

The Consul General agreed to work in collaboration with the local Government in these fields, according to the press release.
