Rotary Club of Pondicherry Cosmos donated three dialysis units and a treadmill test (TMT) machine to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (IGMCRI) in Kadirkamam.

The cost of the equipment is estimated to be about Rs.20.50 lakh.

Rotary Club District Governor C. Gunasekaran said the project was implemented with the support of Pondicherry Cosmos, and international partner District 9820 Victoria, Australia, and the Rotary Foundation.

The hospital was lacking these facilities, causing hardship to the scores of poor patients who seek refuge in the Government institution.
