The Storytellers’ Bar in The Promenade Hotel is all set to host a fun-filled hip-hop night with Bengaluru’s oldest DJ, Gautham Reddy.

DJ Reddy will be behind the decks on June 30 to make the audience shake it and start the weekend.

The event starts at 8 p.m. After being introduced to underground electronic music at the age of 18, Gautham Reddy began his DJ career in 2010 playing electronic and dance music that maximizes every beat of every track to create the unique sound.

Gautham’s musical style reflects his eclectic influences — from high-modernist integral surrealism to raw electro, jazz-funk fusion to 80’s rock and roll, Indian classical and more.

He likes to explore fresh sounds in various genres like electro, psy breaks (tech funk), dub, reggae, chill step, glitch hop, swing hop, ghetto funk, drum and bass, drumstep, deathstep, dubstep, full on, twilight, dark, forest and more.

New styles

He is known for his experiments with sounds and as a DJ who introduces twisted and wicked sounds of new styles of music for the audience.

He has played alongside some of the notable artistes and the best clubs in the country.

Gates for the show open at 5 p.m. on June 30 at the Storytellers’ Bar.
