CII hails budget

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Puducherry has hailed the pro-industry initiatives proposed in the BudgetS Narasimhan, CII chairman, said the “positive” approach would provide a boost to the MSMEs and industries.

The announcement of new Industrial Estates at Sedarapet / Karasur and Mettupalayam reflected the emphasis on development of the MSME sector, Mr. Narasimhan said.

He welcomed the proposals for organising a 'Mega Investors Meet' and constitution of a committee under his chairmanship to decide on providing  incentives / concessions to  mega projects on a case to case basis .
