The Centralised Admission Committee will on Monday release the schedule of admissions for professional courses for the academic year. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy is expected to release the rank list on Monday.

Distribution of applications for the academic year 2014-2015 opened on May 9 and closed on May 31. The government pool of MBBS seats in the seven self financing medical colleges here has been finalised at 265 seats. G. Ragesh Chandra, Secretary of Education told The Hindu , “On Monday, we will release the merit list and the schedule of admission for the professional courses.”
The 265 MBBS seats in the seven private medical colleges allocated to Government pool for the academic year is the same as that of the previous year. After chairing a high-level meeting with management representatives of the medical colleges, the CM said that the Government would try to increase the tally in the coming years.
