The Centralised Admission Committee (Centac) on Thursday announced the schedule for the first round of counselling for BDS degree (2017-18) for the Union Territory of Puducherry candidates and BDS Management quota seats for All India quota (including the UT of Puducherry).
The counselling will begin on August 6 at 9 a.m. at the Centac office on the Pondicherry Engineering College campus here. The candidates have to download the counselling call letter from the website – www.centaconline.in.
A press statement from Centac requested eligible candidates who did not receive the counselling call letters but fall within the above category or merit marks to attend the counselling on the respective date and time, with all the original certificates and one set of photo copies of all the documents and a demand draft for ₹750 (₹350 for SC/BT (Puducherry) and SC/ST (other state) drawn in favour of the Convenor, Centac and payable at Puducherry. Students may also pay in cash.
Counselling schedule
9 a.m. – The first round of counselling will be held for the children, grandchildren of freedom fighters (Puducherry candidates) – Those ranked between general merit rank 1 and 704 are eligible to apply.
9.15 a.m. – Physically Challenged persons (Puducherry candidates).
9.30 a.m. – Wards of ex-servicemen (Puducherry candidates) – Those ranked between general merit rank 1 and 704 are eligible to apply.
9.45 a.m. – Meritorious Sports persons (Puducherry candidates) – Those ranked between from sports merit rank 1 and15 are eligible to apply.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – UT of Puducherry candidates (all categories).
From 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Management quota seats (all India quota).
