CENTAC application forms to be issued from today

Only online submissions made with attested printouts permitted

Students waiting to pursue their higher education in professional colleges in Puducherry can apply for admissions through the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) from Friday.

Distribution of applications for medical, engineering and other professional courses for the academic year 2014-2015 opens on May 9 and closes on May 31.

Candidates from the Union Territory of Puducherry are eligible for seats in government colleges and seats allotted in self-financing colleges under government quota.

Candidates of other States are eligible only for select courses in government colleges but not for seats offered under government quota in self-financing colleges, through CENTAC, said the statement issued by the committee.

Application forms and information bulletin can be downloaded from >www.centaconline.in .

Submission of application forms is permitted only through online mode.

But forms would be considered only on receipt of printout of the online entry along with attested copies of certificates, application fee in the form of demand draft or NEFT.

The printout must reach CENTAC before June 10 through courier or post.

It can also be submitted in person to the convener, CENTAC, Pondicherry Engineering College campus, Ellaipillaichaady, Pondicherry- 605 014.
