The second edition of the career counselling fair organised by Lycee Francais de Pondicherry will be held on the school premises on January 20.

Students between the ages of 14 and 18, as well as those aspiring to pursue higher education in France can participate in the fair which will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

‘Good opportunity’

Stephan Madrias, principal of Lycee Francais, said the fair would provide an opportunity for students to talk about application procedure.

They could also discuss their career preferences with experts from different fields.

Professionals and experts from a wide variety of fields including research, marketing, finance, art, teachers, professors and administrators from renowned French schools and Universities will participate in the fair.

Workshops, role play

Mr. Madrias said students and their families can talk to professionals, participate in workshops, role-playing and simulation exercises.

He added that the fair will help students discover the French educational system offered by the Lycee and the Baccalaureate, an international diploma to access the best universities and higher schools around the world.

Higher education in France is recognised as one of the best in the world and students can pursue their education at an affordable cost, Mr. Madrias added.
