Amidst applause from the crowd clenching on to the edges of barricades and billowing white smoke, an Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle vroomed around within the enclosure.

It was Saturday evening and the heat of the sun was still felt, when three experienced stuntmen from Coimbatore wearing helmet, boots and other biker paraphernalia, raised the throttle to perform adrenaline rushing stunts.

The daredevilry was part of the Apache Pro Performance stunt show in Puducherry organised by TVS Racing.

First, two riders performed stunts such as pillion thrill-ride, 360 degree front wheelie, synchronised flower burnout, suicide burnout on the most awarded Indian motorcycle of the year 2017.

“Apache Pro Performance show is organised to market the prowess of Apache RTR series motorcycles, promote bike riding as a sport and safety riding of bikes,” says Karthik Gowda of Buxus Media Private Limited, which organises event for TVS Racing.

He added that the three riders — Biju, Padmaprashanth and Ananthu — while performing stunts will also create awareness on safety.

A short while into the stunt show, two people from the audience were picked up to experience and be part of the show.

There was also a special session for the audience on how to ride safely and responsibly. More stunt shows have also been lined up across Tamil Nadu for the next few weeks.
