K. Ranganathan (54), a regular employee of the Neyveli Lignite Corporation engaged in the conveyor belt vulcanising yard, allegedly committed suicide by hanging on the NLC premises on Thursday. NLC sources said that he was said to be irregular in his attendance and disciplinary action was taken against him several times.
The police have booked a case.
