30 in race to capture Puducherry

As per the final list of candidates, a total of 30 candidates are in the fray

Puducherry, which is going to polls on April 24, will witness a multi-corner contest.

As per the final list of candidates, a total of 30 candidates are in the fray. Seven of them are from recognised national and State political parties, including V. Narayanasamy of the Congress and R. Radhakrishnan of the All India N.R. Congress. Four are from registered national and State political parties. Remaining candidates are Independents.

The names of candidates who figured in the final list are as follows.
