The first phase of counselling for engineering seats was conducted from 9 a.m. onwards on Tuesday. Special and general category candidates were called for counselling.

Under the special category, a total of 185 candidates attended the counselling and 147 seats were allotted to various colleges based on merit, category, choice and availability. “Similarly, candidates who have secured merit rank from 1 to 504 under general category were called for counselling. Among the 236 candidates who attended the counselling, 234 seats were allotted to various colleges based on merit category, choice and availability,” stated a Centac official.
The students who have been allotted seats should join college latest by August 18.
