Nature: Trail to Sálim Ali Point
Sálim Ali Point is the pinnacle of the BNHS reserve, offering a panoramic view of the reserve and the adjoining Sanjay Gandhi National Park. It shows a scenic view of Vihar Lake. During the current season, the forest becomes dry and open, allowing good opportunity for birding.

Any child playing on a beach knows that just a bit of water can turn a pile of dry sand into a spectacular sandcastle. The fascinating behaviour of wet and dry sand shows that even something apparently simple can have an amazing complexity.
A morning of stories of desert explorers and Egyptian pyramids and some fun experiments with Prof. Shankar Ghosh who is a scientist at TIFR with an interest in every day science.

Art exhibition: Amrita Sher-Gil: The Passionate Quest
National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), New Delhi and Mumbai, Ministry of Culture, Government of India present an exhibition — “Amrita Sher-Gil: The Passionate Quest”. It is curated by art historian and author Yashodhara Dalmia, art historian and author of a biography of the artist Amrita Sher-Gil: Live. The exhibition has been developed to commemorate the centenary of this great artist and also presents photographs and original letters.

Art show: Group Show at Clark House
Group exhibition of artists Yogesh Barve, Christine Rogers and Prabhakar Pachpute
Yogesh Barve.
Yogesh Barve: Camouflage and Equality are distinct plays on his architectural endeavours while arranging the glass window panes at Clark House and making Matighar disappear into the grand parks of Lutyen's Delhi.
Christine Rogers: Christine Rogers came to Bombay wanting to re-create the luminescence of old aquatint photographs by printing on a reflective aluminium surface. Surprised by her maternal family's obsession with Switzerland, being descendants of Swiss immigrants of Nashville, she began photographic illusions with mountainous topographies.
Prabhakar Pachpute: Prabhakar Pachpute's debut solo 'Canary in a Coalmine' was initiated in August 2012, inspired by Gustav Klimt's 'Beethoven Frieze' and the magical story of its return. The mural departs to a foundation, on display for its last viewing at the Clark House.
