The producer and director of Rahasya , a movie allegedly based on the Aarushi murder case, told the Bombay High Court on Wednesday that they would arrange a special screening for a family member of the Talwars. They had earlier agreed to screen the movie for only a lawyer of the family.

On Wednesday, advocate Atul Damle told the court that the film-makers would allow one family member and a lawyer to watch the movie, provided they do not disclose any details about the climax or any part of the film. The Talwars agreed.

The film-makers have been given two weeks to arrange for the screening. The matter will be heard next on April 3.

Nupur and Rajesh Talwar, the doctor couple convicted for the murder of their teenaged daughter Aarushi, had moved the court seeking a stay on Rahasya. They had argued that the film’s screening might affect their appeal before the Allahabad High Court.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had filed a reply to their petition, claiming that the film was not based on the murder case. But the Talwars argued that they had many media clippings and interviews wherein the film crew and actors had said the film was based on it.
