Poonawala is Swachh Bharat ambassador

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has nominated Pune-based industrialist Adar Poonawala, CEO, Cyrus Poonawala Group, as ambassador for his pet project Swachha Bharat Mission. The ‘Adar Poonawalla Clean City Initiative’ with an initial investment of ₹100 crore, strives to create a cleaner living space through scientific solid waste management in Pune. Mr. Poonawala joins eminent personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Baba Ram Dev, Salman Khan, Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Kamal Hasan, and Mridula Sinha as ambassadors for the mission.
