April 01, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - MUMBAI:

The judicial custody of Indrani Mukerjea, her husband Peter Mukerjea, former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai, prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, has been extended till April 13.

Indrani, Peter and Sanjeev were present in court on Thursday, which rejected their bail applications.

The CBI on Thursday said it wants to interrogate Rai for two days and that it will file a reply on Peter’s and Khanna’s bail on April 13. Judge HS Mahajan said the court will pass an order on Indrani’s bail on Friday and Khanna’s and Peter’s bail applications will be heard on April 13.

Indrani has filed her bail application through Advocate Mahesh Jethamalani on medical grounds, claiming that her health is “fast deteriorating”. Peter’s application claims he played no role in the conspiracy, while Khanna’s says no evidence has been found by investigators to fix his motive.
