BMC tables new DP in House

May 28, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - MUMBAI:

The city’s Development Plan (DP) was presented before the standing committee meeting of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Friday by the civic administration, which has sought permission to print the DP so it could be circulated in public.

Corporators and the public will have a 60-day window to file their objections and suggestions before the DP is sent to a select committee comprising civic and state government representatives.

This committee will ratify the blueprint for the city and send it back to the civic body.

Following this, it will be finalised as the final blueprint for the next 20 years.
