The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC), which is implementing the Colaba-Bandra-Seepz underground metro corridor on Tuesday, launched its website.

The website — www.mmrcl.com — will provide complete information about the project.

“The website is a part of MMRC’s ongoing effort to connect with people of Mumbai through various communication channels and disseminate complete and authentic information about the project,” its Managing Director Ashwini Bhide said in a statement.

“The intent is to communicate and interact with those who will enjoy the travelling comfort in the near future and attempt to better the quality of ultimate services,” Ms. Bhide said.

The website will provide details of 33.5-km metro route and stations, technologies being used, project consultants, project status, timeline and funding, traffic diversion plans during construction, rehabilitation and resettlement efforts and envisaged benefits of the project.
