Harbour Line services will remain affected on Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday as the Central Railway (CR) will be dismantling a foot-over-bridge (FOB) between Sion and Kurla.
The megablock will begin at 11.30 p.m. on Saturday and end at 5.30 a.m. on Sunday. All services will be suspended between Vadala Road and Mankhurd. Services terminating at Panvel, Belapur and Vashi will be cancelled from 22.58 p.m. on Saturday to 12.40 a.m. Sunday. Services between 4.32 a.m. and 5.56 a.m. on Sunday will be cancelled. Services to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 9.59 p.m. on Saturday to 12.03 a.m. on Sunday, and from 3.51 a.m. to 5.15 a.m. on Sunday will remain cancelled.
A CR spokesperson said that they will be running special services between Panvel and Mankhurd and ticket holders and passholders will be allowed to use the Trans-harbour Line and Central Line from Thane.
Five outstation trains will be cancelled on Sunday. They include the Sinhgad Express and the Deccan Queen between Mumbai and Pune, and the RajyaRani Express, the Deccan Queen, the Panchvati Express and the Godavari Express between Mumbai and Manmad. The Mandovi Express and the Udyan Express will leave around two hours after their normal departure time.
