A resident of Nalasopara (East) has been arrested for molesting his 19-year-old daughter.

Aslam Anwar Khan stays in Santosh Bhowan with his two wives, four daughters and sons. Over the past few years, he had been molesting his daughter of his second wife.

According to sources, the victim did not complain to anybody as Khan had threatened that he would throw out her mother. But in August, she spoke to her mother about it and a complaint was registered at Tulinj police station. Soon after, Khan disappeared. But he was traced to Gujarat and nabbed in Surat on Sunday. Inspector Prakash Birajdar of Tulinj station said, “We took him into custody in Surat.”
