Mumbai: The Deputy Director of IIT Bombay emailed the promised white paper on hike in non-tuition fees to students on Friday evening. The students had suspended their hunger strike on Tuesday following an assurance of the same from the Director.

“We received the white paper around 8 p.m. All students are meeting on Saturday to discuss it and list out points to raise on Monday at the meeting of the committee set up to look into the issue,” said a member of ‘Students against fee hike’, requesting anonymity. Another member said, “On Thursday night we had sent an email to the Director and the Registrar naming the three representatives from ‘Students against fee hike’ to the panel. On Friday, the Deputy Director acknowledged receiving the mail.”
