This play directed by Sunil Shanbag is set in the 1970s on a river island in Goa and follows the tale of landlord and widower Antonio Moraes. The arrival of his son Rafael and his Anglo-Indian girlfriend Loretta after completing their studies in Mumbai transforms the lives of the island’s people. While Rafael is indifferent to Konkani culture, Loretta understands the importance of one’s roots. Tickets are priced between Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000.
