Exhibition: Ronny Sen

July 08, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:37 am IST

Affected by the political fabric of communism in Kolkata, Ronny Sen showcases images to engage with the legacy of communism in Poland. In collaboration with the Polish Institute in New Delhi, Sen’s exhibition explores his experiences in the streets of Gdansk and establishes a dialogue with the winter-laden landscape of Poland. Borrowing from filmmaker Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Three Colors Trilogy , Sen employs the loss of colour to create a sense of disillusionment. In this exhibition, Sen draws a common thread of memory and time between the past and the present. The exhibition is on till July 28.
