Conference: The State of the Profession

The State of Architecture: Practices and Processes in India, an exhibition of post-colonial Indian architecture curated by Rahul Mehrotra, Ranjit Hoskote and Kaiwan Mehta, is hosting a three-day conference on ‘The State of the Profession’ (12-14 January 2016). The talk will address the role of the architect and discuss the relevance of architecture in India. There will be discussions with architects, architecture critics, architecture pedagogues, and theorists, that will discuss the state of architectural education in India. Participants include AGK Menon, Kamu Iyer, and Madhavi Desai, amongst others.
