Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is overjoyed after megastar Amitabh Bachchan complimented him on his performance in Te3n. The thriller, written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, stars Bachchan, Siddiqui and Vidya Balan in lead roles.

Siddiqui said, “I felt good. I couldn’t attend the trailer launch [of Te3n ] as I was shooting in Pune. Bachchan saab complimented me, what can be bigger than this? I’ve learnt a lot from him during shooting and even otherwise.”

Siddiqui was speaking at the trailer launch of another movie, Raman Raghav 2.0 , directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film, slated to release on June 24, is inspired by Raman Raghav aka Psycho Raman, a psychopathic serial killer who terrorised the streets of Mumbai in the mid-1960s. Siddiqui said it was a challenge to play Psycho Raman. “It is not a normal character. Things in society which we think is wrong is right for him.” — PTI
