Art show: Solace

NS Rana’s sculptures in bronze and metal relief seek to combine India’s rich artistic traditions with a robust contemporary practice. Rana’s work displays a mastery over the human form and intricate detailing. His sculptures suggest dignity, adding an element of emotion to his work. The artist aims to incorporate fact, form and function in his collection. Born in 1951, the sculptor is a graduate of the Delhi College of Art. The show is on till May 2.
