City sees spurt in dengue cases

The city has recorded a spurt in dengue cases in September with the civic body recording 122 cases, as against 106 cases last month. Mumbai also recorded its second dengue death this year earlier this month with a 45-year-old woman, a resident of Sindhudurg who visiting Mumbai, succumbing to the disease on September 8 at Nair Hospital. According to a statement issued by the civic public health department, a joint meeting was held between public health officials and officials of medical colleges and peripheral hospitals.It was decided that confirmed cases be informed
