Baba Ramdev wants people to boycott PK

December 29, 2014 03:23 am | Updated December 04, 2021 11:28 pm IST - MUMBAI:

Joining the ongoing controversy over Aamir Khan’s Hindi movie PK , yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Sunday appealed to people to boycott the film, claiming it has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. “It seems that famous people have developed a habit of such things [disrespecting the religion]. Films criticising other religions won’t ever be made, then why is such sensitivity never shown about Hinduism?” asked Mr. Ramdev in Mumbai.

He said the minorities in India are united but the majority Hindus are not.Hindu right wing organisations held demonstrations outside a theatre in Mumbai, calling PK an anti-Hindu movie.
