Navi Mumbai: The Vashi police is on the lookout for a resident of Mulund who has been absconding since he was booked in an abetment to suicide case last week.

The case was filed against Parees Nalawade and his wife Sneha following a complaint by Sejal Bhosle, whose husband, Nilesh Mahadeo Bhosle (36), was found dead in Colaba creek on August 21. On August 18, Bhosle’s bike was found abandoned on Vashi flyover along with his bag, helmet, shoes and a suicide note. Bhosle mentioned in the suicide note that he was taking his life because the Nalawade couple had blamed him for their martial strife.

A police official said, “Nalawade is untraceable and his phone is switched off. His wife was summoned to the police station, but we could not arrest her as she surrendered herself after sunset.”

Bhosale allegedly told Sneha that Mr. Nalawade was of bad character. Following the allegations, the couple had a fight and started living separately. They even began proceedings to file for divorce.

The couple allegedly harassed Bhosle following their separation.
