A 68-year-old woman was found dead in a Ganpati immersion pond near her house at Sector 7 in Vashi on Saturday morning.
The police said that a morning walker found the body of Usha Sanas in the pond at around 8.15 a.m. The fire brigade then retrieved the body. The police said that Sanas could have slipped into the pond during her morning walk.
