Mumbai: About 47 instances of malpractices were detected on the very first day of the Secondary School Certificate Class X examinations, which began in the State on Tuesday. These include three instances of malpractice during the French paper held in the afternoon session in Mumbai.
More than 17 lakh students are appearing for the exams being conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education across the State. The exams will conclude on April 1.
Meanwhile, the Khar police station said that there had been no further arrest or questioning in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) paper leak at Bandra’s MMK college. “We have not had any breakthrough in the case. We have not called the boy with the leaked paper on his Whatsapp again for questioning as of now,” said Ramchandra Jagtap, Senior Police Inspector of the Khar police station. The Class XII exams are currently under way across the State.
A student was caught carrying pictures of the Class XII Maths question paper on WhatsApp at the Bandra college on Monday.
