Workshop to help crack quiz code

April 26, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:48 am IST - Kozhikode:

Quiz Kerala, a registered quiz society in the State associated with the International Quizzing Association, will organise a two-day annual quiz workshop, ‘Making of Quizzers,’ for students at the Baby Memorial Hospital auditorium here from May 2.

The programme will introduce the professional quizzing circuit to the students and train them to make use of the game of quizzing for cracking competitive examinations of which general knowledge is a part.

Organisers say the programme will make students aware of the scope of quizzing and its effect in both in academics and career. Rejuvenation of students’ reading skills, powers of observation, analysis and speculation too is part of the event, they add.

Confidence building

Snehaj Sreenivas, secretary and the chief coordinator of Quiz Kerala, says that his team has already trained over 500 students across Kerala.

Those interested may contact Quiz Kerala on: 9895316264.
