Two more die of fever in district

81 cases of suspected dengue reported

KOZHIKODE: Two more persons died of fever in Kozhikode district on Monday. Nejmunnissa, 23, of Kottoor had been suffering from viral fever, while Rameshan, 52, of Thalakkulathur, is suspected to have died of leptospirosis.

Meanwhile, around 1500 people approached various hospitals and health centres in the district for fever treatment. As many as 81 cases of suspected dengue and two cases of leptospirosis were reported in the district. However, only one H1N1 case was reported on Monday as against 10 cases reported on Sunday.
