Turf burning: police still clueless about miscreants

The forensic investigation report regarding the materials used for setting the ground afire too is yet to be released.

The probe into the burning of artificial grass surface at the Nadakkavu Government Girls Higher Secondary School here is yet to make any headway though the police have questioned several persons in connection with the case.

The forensic investigation report regarding the materials used for setting the ground afire too is yet to be released. Though police sources confirm that the report is not mandatory for making any breakthrough, it will be vital during the trial of the case in the court.

A senior police officer currently part of the investigation team said the motive of the crime was not established yet though several persons were questioned. “As per preliminary investigation, kerosene was used for burning the turf, but, no valid clue is available on who made the attempt,” he said.
