Shinde to open BSF facility today

Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will inaugurate the first-phase work of the Border Security Force (BSF) centre at Chekyatt Areekkarakunnu in Nadapuram here on Wednesday.

Union Minister of State for Home Mullappally Ramachandran will preside over the inaugural function.

Mr. Shinde will inaugurate a road, motor transport garage, motor transport office, a saloon for soldiers, and nine barracks. These were built at a cost of Rs.117 lakh.

Work on a Kendriya Vidyalaya, military hospital, rest house for soldiers, training centre, and a commercial complex will start shortly.
