Rs.21 crore for Kozhikode govt. schools

District Panchayat president K. Jameela on Thursday announced a Rs.21 crore package to provide drinking water, toilets and for infrastructure facilities in government schools in the district.

Ms. Jameela, in a meeting held at the District Collectorate, told a gathering of people’s representatives, and parents teachers associations, that funds allotted to their respective schools should be utilised in the same financial year.

Discussions were held on providing more smart classes, labs, girls’ restrooms and exercise equipment in government schools.
