Director Rosshan Andrrews is a happy man these days. His last film ‘How Old Are You,’ which saw Malayali’s favourite heroine Manju Warrier coming back to tinsel town after a break of 15 years, is one of the biggest hits of the year. And he is all set to direct the film’s Tamil version, which will see the return of Jyothika.

That is not all. He is teaming up with actor Prithviraj and script-writers Bobby and Sanjay after ‘Mumbai Police,’ which was well received by the masses and the critics. “I will start shooting the film in October,” Rosshan told The Hindu . “It is completely different from ‘Mumbai Police,’ It is an entertainer for the family audience.”

He would begin shooting the Tamil film after that. “Actor Suriya’s production has also bagged the rights of ‘How Old Are You’ for Kannada, Telugu and Hindi as well,” he says.

“I am thinking of casting Vidya Balan, Kajol or Rani Mukherjee in the lead for the Hindi version.”

Rosshan is confident that ‘How Old Are You’ would work in all languages. “Its theme is universal,” he says. “After seeing the film, director Siddique had called me up and said that it would click in any language.”
