Registration on for EducationPlus career guidance programme

The yearly pre-counselling guidance programme being organised by The Hindu-EducationPlus for this year will be held at the Calicut Tower in the city on May 7, Tuesday.

Registration is still open for the event, which is conducted for the benefit of students seeking admission to courses in various professional streams after their Plus Two course.

Students who have registered their names for participation in the event should report at 8.45 a.m. on Tuesday. Registration will continue till then. There is no entry fee. B.S. Warrier, education and career expert, will present an overview of professional courses at the session. S. Rajoo Krishnan, former Joint Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, will speak on the online seat allotment process. Placement training and career guidance expert V.L Kishan Kumar of Kengcylopedia.com will speak on engineering courses and college options.

Registrations may be done by sending an e-mail, incorporating the applicant’s address and phone number, to calicutcounselling@ thehindu.co.in.

Registration forms are also available at the office of The Hindu, First Floor, Shaaz Building, Near Sarada Hospital, Kannur Road, Kozhikode. The phone number is 0495-276 2201/2/3/4. While the State Bank of India, local head office, is the presenting sponsor, the associate sponsors of the programme are Hero MotoCorp and Cooperative Academy for Professional Education.
