Choreo Nite blends exciting music and jaw-dropping moves

With the presence of Bollywood sensation Farhan Akthar, Ragam-2014 touched a high note at National Institute of Technology (NIT-C) on Saturday.

‘Choreo Nite,’ the central event of the day, witnessed a perfect blend of exciting music and jaw-dropping moves, amid a packed house. The meticulously executed show had the audience thirsting for more.

Making day-2 memorable was Cha-cha, an exclusive dance workshop, and Krav Maga Global’s special self-defence training programme for women. For many, it was a golden chance to become familiar with the Krav Maga technique, used in the popular movie ‘The Bourne Supremacy.’

The literary events continued to test the students’ creative skills. A quiz saw the participation of over 40 contestants from various parts of the State. Treasure Hunt and Mock Court also turned out to be popular events.

Classical dances from various States, competitions in mime and mimicry, and musical events livened up the day.

Programme coordinators said the flow of participants to the fete was giving them reason to cheer. “The registration desk reported a significant rise on Saturday in the number of new contestants,” they said.
