PSC online exam centre to be launched before Onam

The centre will cater for Kozhikode, Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, and Malappuram districts

The biggest online examination centre of the Public Service Commission (PSC) will be launched in Kozhikode before Onam. PSC Chairman K.S. Radhakrishnan told reporters here on Friday that as many as 321 candidates can take examination at the centre at a time, and that it would cater for Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, and Malappuram districts, besides Kozhikode.

Mr. Radhakrishnan was here to conduct the final mock test before the launch of the centre, which is the fourth in the State. The centre is housed in the PWD building next to the PSC Office at the civil station.

With the opening of the facility, the PSC will be able to conduct examination for up to 1,500 candidates at a time and publish the rank list in a month. While the capacity of the online centre in Thiruvananthapuram is 240, it is 104 and 210 in Pathanamthitta and Ernakulam respectively.
