July 29, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 08:26 am IST - Kozhikode:

The government will come up with an action plan for revitalising the public education sector with a mission to bring back the State’s rich culture of secular education, Minister for Education C. Raveendranath has said.

He was speaking after inaugurating a newly constructed building of the Karaparamba Government High School under the PRISM (Promoting Regional Schools to International Standards through Multiple Intervention) project, on Thursday. Mr. Raveendranath said the revitalisation project would be implemented in all government schools by developing the infrastructure. “We will implement the scheme with the same zeal we had shown in taking up the literacy movement in Kerala,” he said. The Minister also laid the foundation stone for a multi-purpose building at the school.
