Passing-out parade ofstudent police

The passing-out parade of the Student Police Cadets who have completed two years will be held at Zamorin’s Higher Secondary School at 7 a.m. on Saturday. Minister for Urban Affairs Manjalamkuzhi Ali will receive the salute at the parade.

According to a press release, the parade is being organised as part of Eminence 2013, a city educational district summer camp for the cadets from April 30 to May 4. Around 600 cadets from 13 schools, community police officers, police officers, social workers, and people’s representatives are taking part in the camp.

In the camp, the cadets interacted with Kannur Zonal IG of police Jose George and Managing Director of Milma K.T. Thomas. They visited District Jail, Beypore port, Mathrubhumi printing press, and Milma. The cadets conducted traffic awareness campaign in the city from 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, the release added.
