To spread message of energy conservation among youngsters

‘Oorjotsavam’, an event planned as part of the Smart Energy Programme of the State government and aimed at spreading the message of energy conservation among youngsters, will be held in the district next week.

According to N. Sijesh, district coordinator of the programme, the event in Thamarassery education district would be held on October 13.

In Vadakara education district, it will be organised on October 14, and in Kozhikode education district on October 28.

Quiz, cartoon drawing, painting, and essay writing contests will be held for students of upper primary schools and high schools.

All participants will be given LED bulbs.

Registration forms are available at www.darsanam.org . The names of schools and participants should be sent through WhatsApp to 9495528091.

Selected schools will be given fans, LED tubelights, and LED bulbs.
