MYL’s appeal to Ministers on vested interests

The Muslim Youth League has appealed to the Ministers to keep their departments insulated from power-brokers who use their political connections for selfish gains.

Its State working committee has asked Ministers to be the source of hope for common people.

On misuse of power

State president P.M. Sadiq Ali said on Monday that mischief-mongers had been exploiting misdeeds of some people close to Ministers to tarnish the image of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. Ministers must keep their office staff on a tight leash so that they did not misuse their authority.
